In Ambifuego we have a variety of High output gas fire available from leading brands such as DRU. Fires are supplied in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with fuel type options to suit your needs. Models are supplied either as inserts, which are installed into a hole in the wall or existing fireplace, or as a firebox around which a new fire surround is built or freestanding as the model Etoile.
The Etoile is high output gas fire model with considerable capacity. Its high output amounts to more than 85%. Its functional design and the slightly curved front mean the Etoile can be placed in both a contemporary or classic interior. The thermostat is easy to switch off which allows you to savour just the ambient coal fire.
Before you select your stove or fire, we can suggest the suitability of the appliance in your home. Firstly, you need to know what fuel you will be running. Secondly, you will need to be aware of what type of chimney or flue you have.
Open- flued high output gas heater
The fire draw air from the room to feed the fire and direct combustion products outside via a flue. Inadequate ventilation and use of exhaust fans can draw carbon monoxide (and other exhaust gases) back into the room in certain circumstances.
Conventional chimneys rely on the natural circulation of heated air to expel the products of combustion up your chimney and can work with either open or glass-fronted fires. Air for combustion is supplied from the room the gas fire or stove is installed in.
