Description

Glass fronted gas fires from 70cm to 240cm wide. Fires from DRU a leading European manufacturer offering the latest generation of gas fires. The fires have high heat outputs but are environmentally friendly and easy to operate.

These fires can be installed whether you have a chimney or not and all models are glass-fronted fires with energy efficiency up to 85%.

All the models are balanced flue gas fires, this mean they are completely room-sealed appliances. The gas and air required for combustion circulate around the fire chamber and concentric flue in order to create the maximum heat output, most realistic flame picture and best possible energy efficiency.

Glass-fronted models tend to be the more efficient that open living flames one,  as they’re more enclosed. This means less of the heat escapes into the chimney or flue and more is concentrated through the glass into the room.

Balanced flue gas fires are completely sealed from the living room itself, so there is no need to provide extra ventilation there by adding unnecessarily electric ventilations.  Nor is there any danger of carbon monoxide poisoning, a fire hazard or an injury, they are safe appliances.
